I knew Patricia from the time we both started school at StJoseph’s in Uki, went on to St. Mary’s with her and entered the convent at the same time as Patricia. We spent holidays at each other’s homes too. We kept in touch by phone in recent years when I returned to Sydney. I valued her friendship and admired her determination and her openness to new opportunities and ideas.
