Oh my dear Wombles, where do I even begin. I’ve known you for most of my life, we’ve grown up together. Through school to now, you have always been that smiley, funny, kindhearted beautiful soul that always had time for anyone. Even my daughter loved your kind heart, she loved seeing you at the Townsend shop, telling stories of our school years. Love you to the moon and back my Wombles. Yeeeeeeew!

Wombat was always the highlight of my early morning pop ins to Spar before to my daily surf check. He would always greet me with a huge smile, almost always what I’d call the “Wombat hug” essentially a bear hug but Wombat style hahah. He was always huge highlight to my mornings in and out of the surf! I’ll miss you forever and I’ll miss seeing you in the lineup shouting “YEWWW” to anyone who paddled for a wave, I hope you get some endless barrels up there legend ❤️🪽
