Have always remembered the name Marie Myers from my earliest days as a young boy growing up as part of the Evans family in Croydon, Sydney. Marie always took the time to have a conversation with me and all my siblings on a Sunday morning after church. She was genuinely interested in what we all had to say and I bumped her on a handful of occasions throughout my life and she remained exactly as I remember her as a young boy. Well groomed, intelligent, contented, supportive are just some of the observations of Marie I remember. How lucky the world was to have had her for 100 years. Remarkable woman !!
